JumpSac Orbit Carrier Wearing Instructions - Front Carry (for small babies, legs-out, in a cinched base of the body panel)
Front Carry Position with Small Babies (legs out, in a cinched base of the body panel)
Here's how you do the Front Carry Position with Small Babies (legs out) achieved by cinching the base of the body panel of the JumpSac Orbit carrier.
If you'd like to start wearing your baby in the JumpSac Orbit Carrier a lot earlier than the recommended age of 3 months old, you can use this tip below to make the base of the body panel narrower, so that you can legs-out your baby.
Newborns and small babies would not be able to spread open their legs over the wide base of the body panel of the JumpSac Orbit carrier just yet.
This tip will allow you to use your JumpSac Orbit carrier a lot sooner with your newborn / baby under 3 months old.
Note: If your baby is born premature, it'll probably take longer than 3 months before you can legs-out your baby in the JumpSac Orbit carrier. So, use this tip if you feel that your baby is not yet ready to legs-out in the carrier (i.e. the body panel base is still too wide for your baby to spread his/her legs over it).
The pic below shows how to cinch the base of the body panel to make it narrower using a scrunchie (hairband).
Bring the scrunchie around the waist/hip pad and place it at the base of the body panel of your JumpSac Orbit carrier (this is the easiest / fastest route / easiest entry point with less amount of obstruction). The scrunchie helps narrow the width of the base of the body panel. This way you'd be able to legs-out a small baby under 3 months old.
Reference: Baby is 1 month old in this pic, worn using the baby-size JumpSac Orbit.
