For custom JumpSac Ring Slings, please allow approximately 7 -14 business days before shipping is made, after payment received.
We do our best to meet these timeframes but we do greatly appreciate your patience and understanding when for whatever reason we are not able to. Please remember that once a carrier ships, we are no longer able to control the timing of it. That is entirely dependent on the delivery service being used (PosEkspres / PosLaju for domestic and Air Parcel / PosEkspres International for international). However, if you do live in a location that has problematic mail service, we highly recommend emailing us first to discuss insuring your package before shipment.

What is a ring sling / baby sling?
A Ring Sling is a baby carrier made from a strong piece of cloth (single / double layer) and attached with a pair of rings, to make it adjustable.
Are all ring slings in the market the same?
No. The difference is in the shoulder design, padded or non padded, fabric and prints selection, fabric width, fabric length, rings type (aluminium, nylon, steel, etc), rings size, rings strength, sling tail style, with or without pocket, zippered pocket or open pocket, etc.
What are the key features of JumpSac Ring Sling which makes it a trusted and dependable ring sling?

Are the JumpSac Ring Slings shoulder padded?
Yes. All JumpSac ring slings are lightly padded, to give that extra cushion for your shoulders especially when carrying heavier babies.
What are the rings of the JumpSac Ring Slings made of? Can they withstand my baby's weight?
The rings used to construct JumpSac ring slings are rings that are done especially for use in baby slings, and are made of smooth, strong, safe and weld-free aluminum, which are thoroughly tested by the people behind slingrings.com. The aluminum rings are batch tested at their facility, and also in an independent laboratory to ensure strength and non-toxicity.
As babies find the rings irresistible to chew on, they have ensured that the rings are carefully smoothed out and use non-toxic materials. As for the ring color, it is anodized onto the aluminum rings -- it becomes part of the metal, and will not chip off or lose its color with time.
The aluminum rings sizes used to make JumpSac ring slings are Medium, 2.5" (6.4 cm) and Large, 3" (7.6 cm) and 0.25" (.64 cm) thick.
Ring size does not depend on the height or weight of you or your baby. It depends on the fabric being used. Let us take care about this part for you. Generally, we use the Medium ring for thinner / slipperier fabric, and the Large rings for thicker / sturdier fabrics. All rings are provided by slingrings.com.
Is the JumpSac ring sling safe to be used, even on a newborn?
Yes it is, for as long as you adhere to the safety measures, and of course to use some common sense too.

How do I wash my JumpSac ring sling?
All JumpSac ring slings are machine washable (with exception to the Luxury Linen Series, which must be handwashed, and removed promptly. Dry cleaning is also recommended). Just make sure you wash separately, on cold with just a little detergent. Always wash separately. To reduce the clanking sound of the aluminium rings against the washing machine wall, put it in a large lingerie bag or pillow case and then line dry.
You CAN machine dry but the colors will stay brighter and more vibrant if you line dry. If you do machine dry, please dry on medium, remove promptly. And it is always a good idea when washing your carrier for the first time to include a dye catcher sheet with dark colors to catch any excess dye that may be present. If you couldn't find one, try getting them from the laundry shop or you could try using old cotton t-shirt.
(*Tips: For Pure Linen and Linen Blend, it is a good idea to steam iron / iron while fabric is still damped to help break in the fibers, so that the fabric will get softer faster.)
What is the weight limit of the ring sling?
For JumpSac ring slings, you can wear your child from newborn to maximum 15kg (for JumpSac ring sling). Weight limit varies depending on fabric used. These are the weight limits for each Series.
Lush Series : till 10-11kg max
Mesh (Water) Series: till 11-13kg max
Raw Silk Series: till 11-13kg max
Luxury Linen and Trance Series: till 14kg-15kg max
Basic, Pop Art and Graphic Series: till 15kg max

My baby hates the sling! What should I do?
We believe all babies are born to be worn (or hold.. or carried). You baby might need some time to get used with the sling. Try walking, talking, distracting and bouncing while you're putting your baby into the sling. Just make sure you move about. Your baby is going to love the sling in no time!
What if my baby is already really heavy to be worn in the ring sling? Is there a carrier than can support my baby's/toddler's weight?
Fortunately there is. You can either wear the JumpSac Orbit soft structured carrier or the JumpSac mei tai.
JumpSac Orbit Soft structured carrier:
What is a JumpSac Orbit soft structured carrier?
JumpSac Orbit is a two-shouldered baby carrier which fastens by buckles and is constructed to support the weight of a heavy baby / toddler. It is generally used for babies around 3 months of age till 3.5 years old (for baby-size JumpSac Orbit) and from 8 months old (for toddler-size JumpSac Orbit) till around 4 years old.
The base of the body panel is made wide enough to support the baby's weight by the bum, and tall enough to support the baby's back. The base is also attached to a structured, sturdy hip/waist pad that moulds to your hip/waist to help distribute yours baby's weight well when worn.
The combination of the wide-base and tall body panel, two shoulder straps (which is fastened by a chest strap) and the hip/waist pad, helps to distribute your baby's weight all over your hips and torso.
Wearing your baby would feel almost weigthless in it.
JumpSac Orbit also comes with a detachable sleep hood to keep you baby's head in place while your baby is taking a nap in the carrier.
Are all structured carriers in the market the same?
No. The differences are in the dimensions on the body panel, width, thickness and length of the shoulder straps and the waist pad, the plushness/stiffness of the various foams or padding materials used for shoulder straps and the waist pad, whether it has a sleep-hood or not, and the various styles of the hood, whether it has a pocket sewn on the body panel, waist pad, shoulder straps, etc, and of course the general differences - in the material and print/colour combo used, and the differences in hardware used to construct the carrier.
Are the JumpSac Orbit shoulder padded?
Yes. All JumpSac Orbit shoulder are heavily padded for comfort when wearing really heavy babies/toddlers. This is to give a lot of cushioning on your shoulder to allow long wearing.
When should I start wearing my baby in the JumpSac Orbit?
The best age would be when you feel that your baby is already really heavy, usually at around 6-8 months old and/or because you need to be on your feet for long hours while wearing your baby. If you have a big baby though, you can already start at 3 months of age (using the baby-size JumpSac Orbit).

What is the weight limit of the JumpSac Orbit carrier?
JumpSac Orbit carrier can withstand up to 20kg of weight, or for as long as you can comfortably carry your baby/toddler.
Canvas material can generally carry better weight than the cotton twill material.

What is a JumpSac mei tai?
JumpSac mei tai is an asian-inspired carrier, which fastens by 4 long straps (2 straps for tying at the waist level, and 2 straps for the shoulder).
The construction is almost similar like the JumpSac Orbit soft structured carrier, where the base of the body panel is made wide enough to support the baby's weight by the bum, and tall enough to support the baby's back.
The base however is attached to a lightly-padded hip/waist pad that moulds to your hip/waist to help distribute yours baby's weight well when worn.
Since the waist pad is lightly padded and non-structured, it is possible to shorten the body panel by rolling the waist pad up, in case you'd like to wear a smaller baby. JumpSac mei tai is also a good alternative to choose over the JumpSac Orbit if fastening buckles is not your thing, or if you prefer tying instead.
JumpSac mei tai also comes with a detachable sleep hood to keep you baby's head in place while your baby is taking a nap in the carrier.
Are all asian inspired, mei tai carrier in the market the same?
No. The differences are in the dimensions on the body panel, width, thickness and length of the shoulder straps and the waist straps, the plushness/stiffness of the various padding materials used for shoulder straps and the waist straps, whether it has a sleep-hood or not, and the various styles of the hood, whether it has a pocket sewn on the body panel, waist pad, shoulder straps, etc, and of course the general differences - in the material and print/colour combo used.
Are the JumpSac mei tai shoulder padded?
Yes. All JumpSac mei tai shoulder is lightly padded to give some cushion for your shoulders especially when carrying heavier babies.
The padding thickness is similar to the JumpSac ring sling padding.
When should I start wearing my baby in the JumpSac mei tai?
The best age would be around 6 months old. However, cince the JumpSac mei tai body panel can be rolled up (to shorten the body panel), you can start using it from 4 months of age.
What is the weight limit of the JumpSac mei tai carrier?
JumpSac Mei Tai can withstand up to 18kg of weight, or for as long as you can comfortably carry your baby.
Can I just choose the JumpSac Orbit over the JumpSac mei tai, and not both? Fastening buckles seems easier than tying straps.
Of course! It is generally much easier to use the JumpSac Orbit as compared to the JumpSac mei tai if you're not used to tying straps.
Moms and dads whom prefer the JumpSac mei tai over the JumpSac Orbit carrier, love the adjustability of the straps and the ability to shorten the body panel easily when necessary.
If you're a plus-size mom/dad or really thin/skinny, the JumpSac mei tai would be a better option for you, when you're upgrading from the JumpSac ring sling.
