*Important
You might want to size up, or get even a longer sling if:
1. You want to do cradle carry, but still want the tail to land on your thigh.
2. You require more coverage for nursing, and for covering baby's head from light rain, scorching sun, sand dust, etc.
3. You plan to share the sling with your husband/wife/partner, and that they're taller or bigger than you.
4. You have a very big build / on the plump side.
5. You simply love long sling tails.
JumpSac Woven Wrap Sizing
Size 1 - 2.2m
Size 2 - 2.7m
Size 3 - 3.2m
Size 4 - 3.7m
Size 5 - 4.2m
Size 6 - 4.6m
Size 7 - 5.2m
Size 8 - 5.7m
A size 5 or size 6 wrap is usually the preferred size as you can do a lot of carries / positions using it.
If you want to share the wrap with your spouse or anyone else which are taller or bigger than you are, go up one or two sizes. However, bear in mind that you'd now have to deal with excess fabric. So, if you think you're gonna be the main person using the wrap, go with a size that is suitable for you and for you only.
The table below is an estimate of the wrap size required for each type of carry mentioned below if:
| 5'1" (155cm) « your height « 5'5" (165cm) |
and that when you do each type of carry, you're left with a little / just nice amount of tail.
Important:
- Go down one or two sizes if you're shorter than 5'1" (155cm) or weigh lighter than 45kg.
- Go up one or two sizes if you're taller than 5'5" (165cm) or weigh heavier than 65kg, or if you like long tails.

*Size = Minimum Wrap Size that you'd need.
**Example:
If you are 160cm and weigh 60kg, a Size 5 wrap would allow you to do all types of carry mentioned above. However, please be reminded that you'll be left with excess tail if you're attempting a type of carry that only requires a short wrap length with your Size 5 wrap (e.g: Ruck Under Bum (RUB) only requires a Size 2 wrap).
So, if you plan to wrap a lot in only a certain kind of carry, it is best to pick the most accurate Size for that carry itself. Unless of course if you don't mind the excess tail, which can just be wrapped around your body and tie off.
| | For reference only: As you can see there's excess tail for Front Wrap Cross Carry (FWCC). Using the guide above, model is better off with Size 5 wrap, so that there wouldn't be much excess tail left.
Note: JumpSac Pandora Wrap wraps true to its size. |
